Dr. Lamont Sutton
Dr. LaMont Sutton is a health services researcher who is dedicated to improving healthcare quality for vulnerable and underserved populations. He holds a PhD in Health Services Research and Health Policy and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Emory University, as well as a BS from Cornell University.
Previously, at the Yale Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation, he coordinated national quality measurement projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including work on outcome measures for patients with diabetes and multiple chronic conditions. His research has addressed issues such as access to primary care, safety-net hospital performance, and the sociodemographic determinants of health.
With a background that includes a career-long focus on health equity, Dr. Sutton is committed to advancing The Manors Foundation’s mission to support dialysis patients and raise awareness about renal failure. Dr. Sutton brings extensive experience in clinical outcomes research and measure development.
