Dr. LaMont Sutton
Health and Research Initiative Director

Dr. Sutton is a health services researcher dedicated to improving healthcare quality for vulnerable and underserved populations. He holds a PhD in Health Services Research and Health Policy and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Emory University, as well as a BS from Cornell University.

Previously, at the Yale Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation, he coordinated national quality measurement projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including outcome measures for patients with diabetes and multiple chronic conditions. His research has addressed access to primary care, safety-net hospital performance, and the sociodemographic determinants of health, and he brings extensive experience in clinical outcomes research and measure development.

With a career-long focus on health equity, Dr. Sutton is committed to advancing The Manors Foundation's mission to support dialysis patients and raise awareness about kidney failure.
