Andrea is a proud graduate of Tougaloo College, where she earned a degree in psychology. Early in her professional journey, Andrea applied her passion for helping others as a therapist, working with juveniles in Atlanta, Georgia, and later served as Clinical Director for a social services agency in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After returning to Mississippi in 2007, Andrea founded PWC Events & Design while continuing to build a successful career in finance. Her professional background includes roles as Community Development Officer at NOLA Lending Group, Bank Officer at Regions Bank, and Branch Manager at BankPlus.

In 2018, Andrea fully embraced entrepreneurship, dedicating herself to the growth of PWC Events & Design. Through her leadership, creativity, and commitment to excellence, she has built a brand known for delivering exceptional experiences. Andrea and PWC have been recognized with:

Andrea is deeply committed to service and has served on several boards, contributing her strengths in finance, strategic planning, and leadership development. She is Past President of the West Jackson Rotary Club and a past Executive Board Member of the Mississippi Council on Economic Education. She has served as a Diplomat for both the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce and the Gluckstadt Business Alliance, and as Engagement Leader for NOLA Lending Group's Adopt-A-School program, supporting Callaway High School and John Hopkins Elementary.

A graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson (Class of 2012), Andrea has also served on the leadership committee for the March of Dimes. She currently serves as an Ambassador for the Greater Jackson Partnership and is a member of the Upsilon Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Andrea is an active member of Greater Fairview Baptist Church, which she joined in 2007, where she serves as Director of the Couples Ministry, Director of Community and Outreach, Director of the Events Ministry, Co-Director of the Finance Team, Youth Leader, Bible Study Teacher, and Choir Member.

Above all, Andrea treasures her family: her husband of 21 years, Stephen Hopkins, and their daughters, Taylor and Katelynn.
